IN-Line TCR Filter
In-Line carbon and sediment filters
are specifically designed for the POU Industry, including Reverse
Osmosis and Distillation systems.
The molded polypropylene
filters are available in both 10 inch lengths. With a diameter of
2 inches filters will fit standard filters clips.
Many
unique features have been included in the design of these filters.
The FPT openings, which are available in 1/4" and 3/8",
are molded into the fiber rather than mechanically tapped. Additionally
the molded threads have a special tapered starter thread which allows
for quick and correct insertion of the fittings.
These features
save time assembly and provide for a leak resistant seal due to
the deep grooves and perfect fit of the molded thread.
The spin
welding process used ensures a uniform hermetic seal. In-Line filters
also utilize a computer designed three phase joint which tightly
compresses the carbon bed, improves overall reliability and increases
maximum burst pressure to over 500 psi.
All filtration discs
used in the In-Line carbon filters are sonic welded in place. By
welding,
a positive and repeatable seal can be made inside the
filter which will prevent fine sediment bypass.
